Absztrakt

A MISTRAL fegyverrendszer története Magyarországon nem csak azért sajátos, mert nem a Varsói Szerződés idejében (az akkor alkalmazott és bevált eljárások szerint) történt a beszerzés, hanem azért is, mert ez volt a Honvédség első "nyugati" típusú légvédelmi rakéta fegyvere, emellett beszerzésére még az ország NATO-csatlakozása előtt került sor. Mivel az ezzel a fegyverrendszerrel felszerelt egyik alegység olyan megméretés előtt áll, aminek sikere esetén ez lesz a Honvédség telepíthető kategóriában felajánlott és - az ellenőrzés pozitív kimenetele esetén - a szövetségi követelményeknek megfelelő első alegysége, talán nem haszontalan visszatekinteni a kezdetekre. A dolgozat elsősorban a fegyverrendszer 2004 nyári - 2005 tavaszi helyzetének technikai aspektusait tekinti át, mivel az akkor került az akkori 12. légvédelmi rakétadandár szervezetébe azzal a feladattal, hogy 2007 végére szövetségi környezetben alkalmazható legyen.

History of the MISTRAL air defense system is specific not only because it was introduced into service not in Varsaw Pact time (according to applied and proved procedures of that time) but because it was the first Western-type air defense weapon system of the Hungarian Armed Forces. Beside this the weapon system was aquired before joining NATO of the country. One of those subunits equipped with this weapon undergoes the Capability Evaluation and subsequently it will be the first designated deployable unit of the Hungarian Air Force that meets requirements of the Allied Forces. Therefore it is not useless to owerwiew initial efforts of the 12th Surface-to-Air Missile Wing (then 12th Air Defense Artillery) after taking over the weapon from the Land Forces in 2004 so as to make the main end items of the weapon system operational at all and interoperable for the intended employment in multinational environment.
