A dolgozatban áttekintést kaphat az olvasó egy korábbi - a Zrínyi Miklós Hadtudományi Alapítvány 2008. évi pályázatán díjazott - munkájának folytatásáról, újabb eredményeik prezentálásáról. Az elmúlt év őszén szerzőtársaimmal (dr. Kende György, dr. Seres György és Hangya Gábor) létrehozott távoktatási portál alapvető célja a külhonban, külföldi missziókban szolgálatot teljesítő katonák továbbképzésének távoktatással történő megoldása egy alternatívájának bemutatása volt. Jelen írásban a portál gyakorlati alkalmazásáról, kipróbálásának eredményeiről és a továbbfejlesztésének lehetőségeiről számol be a szerző.

The fundamental aim of the distance education portal was to help and give a solution of the professional development of the soldiers accomplishing a service in the foreign land, foreign country missions. The authors could presentation of an alternative of the possible solutions. In this article we show how the portal works in he practice. We show the first experiences, and the next exercises in the development. We tried the portal with a civil group.
